Valentine's Day Banners available

It is getting close to that romantic time of the year again, so we have created and updated our Valentine's Day banners. To check them out and get them for your site, just log into your Shopzilla Publisher account, click on the Get Content page tab, then click on Stock Assets. When you get here, click on the 'Holidays and Special Occasions' section, where you will find lots of newly created banners! These banners will be available until the end of February.

Shopzilla Publisher Program at Affiliate Summit 2009

The Shopzilla Publisher team made the short plane trip out to Las Vegas for Affiliate Summit West 2009 January 11th - 13th. The event was an excellent opportunity for us to meet some of our current publishers as well as giving many potential publishers information about our program. Over the two days, the Shopzilla Publisher booth had a steady flow of people inquiring about the program, and we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to those who dropped by!

Super Bowl XLII Banners available

We have created two new banners for Super Bowl XLIII. The game, between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers, takes place on Sunday, February 1st. Now is the perfect time to show your spirit and get your favorite team up on your website! These seasonal banners will be available for the next month.

To find these seasonal banners, simply go to the Publisher Portal Get Content page and choose the Stock Assets link.  From there, select the "Holidays and Special Occasions" link. This will take you to a list of banners, where you will find both NFL banners about halfway down.

               

How the Shopzilla Publisher Program Works

How do Publishers make money?
In order to help Publishers understand how our program works, we have illustrated the steps involved in generating earnings.

1.    You place Shopzilla Publisher Program banners or links on your website. A visitor comes to your website, sees a product they would like to compare prices on.

2.    They click on one of the Shopzilla Publisher Program banners or links (*on your Portal report, this represents a ‘click’). This takes them to BizRate, our sister website, where they see a list of relevant products and prices.

3.    Once they decide which product suits them best, they click on a link that takes them through to the website of the Merchant selling that product.

4.    The Merchant pays Shopzilla for valid, CPC-monetized leads and celebrates the sale of a product from the quality traffic you, the Publisher, sent to their website.

5.    Shopzilla shares the revenue generated from this quality traffic with you, the Publisher.* Now YOU celebrate!
